PUSHIN’ FOR THE PANHANDLE

Thanks to the City of Martinsburg and the Martinsburg-Berkeley County Parks & Rec Department’s collaboration, the homesite for Martinsburg’s public skate park has been approved at the former VFW property on S Spring St, along the Frog Hollow Trail. The Parks Department has hired the American Ramp Company to design and develop the engineered park plans, which are currently in progress. The final step of this 13-year endeavor is to secure the $1,000,000 needed for construction.

Through our partnership with the Friends of Parks and Rec 501(c)(3), our goal is to rally crowdfunding support, encourage large-scale donations, and serve as the central hub for anyone interested in getting involved with the Martinsburg Skatepark Project.

We aim to promote local advocacy, establish youth development programs, and ensure that everyone, regardless of background, has access to a public skatepark in the City of Martinsburg.
